About the sunday roast dinner society

We care about a centuries old family tradition, where families came together and create memories and experiences together through the love of Sunday home cooking, that last generation after generation.

History leans towards the year  1485 , King Henry VII is at the throne and peasants would be rewarded on a Sunday with an open roast, after church service. A few hundred years later, during the industrial revolution , families would place a cut of meat into the oven as they got ready for church.  Religious rules started the tradition, marking the end of not being able to eat meat the Sunday roast was created as a mark of celebration.
