The Sunday roast Dinner
My love affair started with food came via the memory of my late grandma, cooking up a second batch of hot Yorkshire pudding in 1986, Her Sunday roasts were so good, I once asked for seconds before she had finished serving up others at the table. My family thought I was rude. My grandma always took it for the compliment that it was and that memory of her joyfully giving me seconds and thirds, has stayed with me forever. In 1998 I invited my girlfriend around for Sunday lunch and cooked a full roast. She cooked me beans on toast. I've been cooking roast dinners and taking pictures of food ever since for her and our family!
Before setting this society up I asked my first three members what the best `Sunday roast Dinner they had ever had was, expecting a reply of 'beef' or 'chicken' or lamb!' Instead I got a chorus of ' well yours of course! My food work here is done!
One of the best way to get more acquainted with the traditions of the Sunday roast dinner is to become a patron and learn about this awesome tradition and share pictures of food
